7001 was where it all began. It was there, in May 1886 that the very first glass of Coca-Cola was served up ice cold and sold to its first consumer at a price of five cents. Dr Jacobs' Pharmacy was located at the corner of Atlanta's Peachtree and Marietta Streets. Willis Venable operated the soda fountain where the new Coca-Cola syrup was first mixed with carbonated water.
